iLegalCareers has installed a new Membership Database to boost the functioning of our Members Network. The migration from the old to new system has been completed as well. You will find that for most research pages, you will need to login (though signing up is free!).
With an influx of research over the past month, iLegalCareers now officially provides information on every continent in the world, less South America (and the Antarctic).
A slight delay in our Newsletter, but the International Legal Careers Association Newsletter Issue 02 will be out this month.

iLegalCareers has successfully hosted its first ever Thank You Dinner for our wonderful researchers. A big thank you to all of our researchers whom without iLegalCareers would not be what we are today. We hope you all enjoyed the Thai cuisine and hope that those who could not make it for the dinner, to join us another time.

iLegalCareers continues to work tirelessly in piecing the puzzle that is the realm of international legal careers. A couple of additions and improvements have been made:
Firstly, more research on the various continents have been uploaded. In particular, you will find an interesting and informative read in The Australian Court System and Hierarchy, by David Lee, our University of Queensland Ambassador. Alternatively, you can taste what it is like to practise law in the Middle East ( Bahrain / Saudi Arabia / UAE); researched by Nada Bader.
Secondly, the site has a new login system that only allows members to view pages beyond the preamble for each country. Nevertheless, signing up is still entirely free. Not all pages beyond the preamble are restricted to Members yet, but this will be completed over the next few weeks.
Thirdly, iLegalCareers has been running a few focus groups concerning Asia, North America and Transnational. If you are interested in participating in person or over the internet, do drop us a mail at iLegalCareers@googlemail.com!

Importantly, a huge thank you to our new sponsors: Contact Singapore! Contact Singapore is an alliance of the Singapore Economic Development Board and Ministry of Manpower, which aims to attract global talent to work, invest and live in Singapore. Do visit their website at www.contactsingapore.sg.
